Caitlin Daire shines in this latest novel of hers starring physical therapist Faith and star wide receiver Damon. There were parts of this book that were AMAZING. Parts that were absolutely addicting and undeniably impossible to put down. The twists and turns in this were fantastic. I honestly didn't see half of them coming. It had me on the edge of my seat, salivating for more. The sexy times left a little to be desired. They were more PG-13/Disney than I would have liked but I've come to expect that from Daire's works. There's more emphasis on character development than sexy times, which is fine by me. I LOVED how the first 3/4 of the book were set up. It dragged a little bit toward the end, but I guess you'll have that. It was definitely an enjoyable, entertaining read. The twists were phenomenal, though. For that alone, I definitely recommend this book. 4.5 STARS.Product details

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I really liked this book. It wasn't the traditional sports romance story which I was thankful for. Some spoiler alert but only about the beginning. There was a twist and you are surprised. The two main characters are Faith and Damon. Faith is a struggling student trying to do finish up her graduate degree while taking over the car of her baby niece when Faith's sister was killed in a car accident. Damon is a cocky playboy football player who she had a past date with and she planned to never date him again. They meet after six years because after her sister was killed Fait finds out that her sister Rachel was raped by a member of Damon's football team but since she doesn't know his name only some initials she decides to contact Damon for a date to get information. This story is not as it seems and the author does a great job with the plot. I like how there is romance, steamy scenes and also some mystery. I would highly recommend this book!
6 years ago the only problem Faith had was finding a boyfriend that would stick, didn't have a mummy complex, didnt have an addiction and didn't cheat, so when her best friend mentioned the guy she was tutoring was interested in a date and seemed cool and really nice she accepted.
Boy was she wrong..... Damon turned up late, stoned and was vulgar with his speech and his texts. She had to leave!
Now in 2016 Faith had lost her sister to supposed "suicide" and was the guardian to her baby niece all the while on a part time university course and working as a yoga instructor.
She had just been in contact with the police who were going to close the case and had accepted she had committed suicide and her sister had a very big secret.....She had been attack, this the police believed to be connected.
But Faith refused to believe this, especially as a nickname for a player in L.A. Brawlers kepts on appearing in her sister secret diary and Faith is going to figure this out no matter what it cost her. Even if it means going out on a date with Damon who plays for L.A. Brawlers.
What will happen?
As the years past after high school Damon become a professional football player and known as a man whore, but the only woman who ever turned him down has always been on his mind, as this did make him change is someways.
Imagine is surprise that 6 years later he receives a message asking to "continue where there date left off". Thinking this will put him one up on his bed post and she must have turned into a 'gold digger' he agrees.
That all changes when he meets her again and she doesn't succumb to his flirty ways. When he is still seeing her after 3 dates he knows something isn't right and when he is out shopping he is in for the shock of his life when Faith is out and with a baby!!!
Will this change anything?

Well written with great characters. Not for anyone under 18. I recommend it for everyone else. I will love to read more of her books.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book. At first I wasn't too sure since Damon was being such a jerk...but this author never let's me down. And I loved Faith from the beginning...great book!!!

That is what Faith started out to do when she contacted Damon. Neither one of them intended on falling in love. Damon just wanted a notch on his belt and Faith wanted inside information to prove her sister did not commit suicide.
This was a quick easy read story With a few interesting twist to the plot.
The storyline was great. I liked both main characters, because they were strong and they sought what they wanted. I would have liked Faith to have been more honest with Damon sooner. I like more heat than this book has but the storyline and the surprises more than make up for that. I voluntarily read a free copy of this book and am giving an honest review.
